It is not your fault

I experienced this when I was in a college. It was in traditional market in Manado North Sulawesi. I was shopping and walking in the crowded street when someone passed me and grabbed my vagina with his hand. I was shocked and could not yell or scream. He walked relaxed as if he had not done anything wrong. I was crying on the way home but could not tell anyone about this. I felt terribly sad and wondered if maybe the way I dressed made him assault me. Years later I found out that it was not my fault at all, this is my body and no one can do anything they want to my body.

I want to tell all women and girls out there that if someone assaults you, you have to believe that it is not your fault, it is also not because the way you dress. They do that because there is something wrong with their mind.
